Poça Dona Beija (Furnas Hot Spring Pool)

Poça Dona Beija, located in the village of Furnas on São Miguel Island, is one of the Azores’ most popular thermal bathing spots. Nestled in a lush valley, this hot spring complex features four pools of varying size and depth, each filled with iron-rich geothermal water that maintains a soothing temperature of around 39°C (102°F). The site is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and visitors are allowed to stay for up to 1½ hours per session.
